Via Giannone

An independent residence in the heart of the city, takes the place of an old flower shed in an old urban courtyard. The house design arises from the potential, the characteristics of the place: wide space, an abundance of light, green options and privacy. It consists of a five-floor building arranged over two parallel wings facing each other. The ground floor is accessed through a wrought iron gate and a wooden walkway crosses through the house, watching its development through the large glass walls. The distinctive feature of the residence is the interpenetration of spaces, which are distinct but always communicating, the flow of light and the looks from one environment to another so that you never ‘get lost’.

Entering the front door in the centre of the two wings, the left side comprises the living area: on the lower level there is a spacious living room defined by the transparency of the glass wall, the concrete walls, the wood floor and the metal of the calendered beams; on the upper level there is the dining area and the suspended kitchen gallery overlooking the entire block, it looks over the annexed terrace and the wing in front, where the sleeping area is concentrated. Here, after going down a few steps, you enter the master bedroom, the bathroom and a dressing room. While going up you reach the double bedroom with an en suite bathroom. On the basement floor there is a small apartment for guests that is totally independent and there are service rooms and utilities for domestic life.
