As a new build in a semi-central area of Milan, the project has addressed the issue of the building curtain typical of Milanese urban blocks: the constraint of facade continuity was an opportunity to build a new architectural language but one that never disconnects from the context. The building becomes an interesting contemporary graft with an eye-catching main facade, punctuated by metal and plaster elements that follow the alignments of the existing buildings. The presence of greenery returns to characterize an entire facade, this time the one facing the courtyard of the building, and it becomes a surprising interior backdrop that is visually multiplied on the semi-reflective glass parapets.
