In an early 20th century building, we have worked on a large apartment structured according to the rigid spatial distribution of the time, turning it into a succession of environments incorporated into each other but at the same time autonomous. The living room communicates with the kitchen but remains separated from it by two large sliding doors that disappear inside partition walls. The corridor channels light and refracts it through a large etched glass surface that joins the two areas of the living area and introduces the sleeping area. Here the concept of separation and joining re-emerges between the bedroom and the bathroom where the bathtub is exposed but separated by an opaque glass wall.
