A new residential construction in Via Principe Eugenio in Milan.
The first phase consisted in making safe the perimeter of the lot adjacent to the areas where the design envisages a basement for parking by using micropiles and an intense consolidation of the perimeter of the existing building obtained by consolidating the original foundations through the use of micropiles and casing the bearing walls of the facade with a temporary cage of UPN and HEA metal profiles that no longer benefit from the bracing effect of the original floors, which have now been demolished. Once the basement excavations are completed, the existing building will “float” on the excavation below supported by micropiles.
